A space
made to measure
Located at 48, rue François 1er, in the heart of Paris, ZILLI’s flagship store is an ode to excellence and refinement. The store is housed in a classic Parisian building that exudes timeless elegance and charm.
Thru the vision and direction of the architect Gwenaël Nicolas, the building has been meticulously restored to preserve its historical significance, while incorporating modern elements that reflect ZILLI’s contemporary aesthetic.
The vestibule
On entering the store, customers are greeted the key pieces of the collection, presented as precious artisan pieces. The mirrored ceiling adds elegance, gravitas and energy to the space, inviting customers to discover more. The space is created as a series of sequences that highlight each product. A special feature is the shirt wall, which catches the eye like a collection of paintings. A warm and welcoming material palette, composed by Walnut wood, Parisian limestone, polished steel and Blue Radica create a sophisticated masculine ambient.
The gallery
A unique destination that will delight the connoisseur with its offer of leather goods to order and made-to-order pieces. A series of rooms welcome the customer in a comfortable setting, the small leather goods and bags salon, the workshop with personalization offer and the Rotonda, a place of contemplation and discovery that surrounds the clientele with the shoe collections.
The apartment
The two upper floors are an invitation to private areas, entering the ecrin of a personal space. The original wall mouldings, a hallmark of Parisian architecture, have been carefully restored to their to their former glory, seamlessly integrating lighting and fixtures.
A series of sculptural cabinets, like personal wardrobes, rhythm the interior of the rooms. These bespoke displays are crafted from high quality materials such as marble, glass, walnut and polished metal that complement the store's luxurious ambience, in a unique shape that matches the range of products. The salons are bathed in a soft shade of beige and muted colours, thanks to indirect lighting and integrated luminaires that highlight each product. Contrast is provided by indigo Radica wooden tables and displays.
The MTM ateliers
The second floor is the chamber of ZILLI: the made to measure and bespoke tailoring salons. Shadow grey walls and indigo blue Radica wooden furniture and flooring create a dramatic setting that interprets ZILLI’s passion for innovation and pioneering spirit and create a sophisticated masculine ambient. The apparent simplicity reveals perfection through details and unexpected encounters, the essence of ZILLI’'s tailoring philosophy.
Each room has a specific function: the tailoring room, with a large dressing table in the center with an integrated digital screen, takes tailoring to a new dimension, where the heritage and technology meet.
The large salon in the center is a place of contemplation and discovery, where selected products are displayed in a cabinet of curiosities, whose hidden pieces are revealed to the client in a unique ceremony. It is also a place to meet and share moments with a large library dedicated to arts and crafts, with a collection of manuscripts and selected objects.
The furniture collection
Custom furniture pieces, including sofas, side tables, lamps, console and special art pieces has been designed by Gwenaël Nicolas to enhance ZILLI identity.
The collection features seats upholstered in velvet to highlight their sleek lines. The three-layer armchairs are particularly notable, embodying the brand’s signature triple stitch showcasing impeccable craftsmanship by la maison Philippe Hurel.
Capturing the ambience of a quintessential French home, the walls are adorned with carefully curated compositions of consoles, lamps and artwork. Stunning blue and green onyx accent the low tables and console design. These astonishing stone patterns create a timeless moment that subtly contrasts with the simple lines of the furniture, complemented by the alabaster lamps, crowned with a brass stem, made in Lyon by Pulsatil. In addition, the bronze console by Atelier François Pouenat further enhances the space, bringing together the collection's commitment to craftsmanship and modern elegance.
The interior is beautifully complemented by Pietro Siminelli's works of art. These abstract compositions in jacquard woven linen and silk add a layer of aesthetics to the entire boutique.
